The Inaugural General Meeting of the ARIN-AP (Asset Recovery Interagency Network - Asia Pacific) was held at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office in November. The Inaugural General Meeting attracted 21 countries from Asia-Pacific region as well as 6 international organizations including UNODC, World Bank, and CARIN. The Supreme Prosecutors' Office took the role of Secretariat of the ARIN-AP. The Office of Secretariat has officially started to run at the International Cooperation Center since December 30.

APICC(Asia-Pacific Information Coordination Center for combating Drug Crimes) secretariat was established at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office to strengthen capacity of controlling international drug syndicates by taking a primary role in international cooperation and sharing information of illegal drug trafficking.

Masan Branch Prosecutors' Office, the 64th Prosecutors' office, was launched in Changwon District Prosecutors' Office and the Cybercrime Investigation Center launched at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office to cope with various emerging cybercrimes.
